Quarterly Clinic Update: April 2026
Our Pet Rehab & Wellness Centre Turns 1!!
On 7th April, we were pleased to be marking 1 year of Horner Pet Rehab & Wellness Centre. Over the past year, we’ve supported a wide range of pets with their rehabilitation and ongoing wellbeing, treating a total of 155 patients. With Megan as our lead physio, we’re please to welcome a new team member, further strengthening the service we provide, and introduced an exciting new service with WIMBA Orthotics to expand our treatment options.
Throughout the year, we’ve worked closely with owners and referring veterinary professionals to ensure consistent, high-quality care. Thank you to our clients and veterinary colleagues for your trust and collaboration—it’s been a valued first year, and we look forward to continuing to support you and your patients in the future.
Team News:
Sarah meets with Local MP to generate awareness for Bradley’s Promise
RVN Sarah recently had the opportunity to meet with local MP Jess Phillips (Labour party) to discuss her charity Bradley's Promise, a campaign born out of personal experience and a determination to create meaningful change for young people and their families.
Bradley's Promise is dedicated to supporting young people aged 16-25 who are living with life limiting conditions. It exists because of the gaps in care and support that Sarahs own family experienced.
The focus is simple but urgent; families should not have to fight for the right care and support during the most difficult times of their lives.
The meeting was both productive and encouraging. As an outcome Jess Phillips has agreed to arrange a meeting with the Health Secretaries on behalf of Bradley's Promise. This is a significant step forward in raising awareness at a national level and pushing for the changes that are so desperately needed.
Alongside this progress Sarah is also waiting for the charity registration number - a process that has taken 4 years since losing Bradley. It has been a long and emotional journey but receiving this registration will mark an important milestone. It will allow the charity to formally expand their work and reach more families who need support.
Bradley's promise is about turning loss into purpose, and continuing to fight for a system that truly cares
To find out more or learn how you can help with Bradley’s Promise please see their website.
Welcome Nathan to the team!
We’re pleased to welcome Nathan, our new Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) joined us on 13th April!
We asked Nathan to say a little bit about himself:
"I've worked in the veterinary industry for 2 years. I have a great passion for animal care and welfare and am excited to go further my journey at Horner Vets.
